What is DOD?

DOD (Dream of Doll) is a Korean store that sells MSD (43cm) and SD(60cm) sized ball-jointed dolls.

DOC vs. DOT

At DOD, there are two sizes of dolls: Dream of Children (DOC), that most closely resemble MSD's in size, and Dream of Teenagers (DOT) that are most like SD's. DOC's are about 43 or 45 cm tall, while DOT's are 60cm or 64cm tall. DOC's are meant to resemble children, while DOT's resemble teenagers with their more mature bodies and height.

DOC

All the DOC standard dolls come with: Doll, eyes, wig, extra pair of hands, 2 cushions, a gift (ring for boys and hair-pins for girls) and a DOD carrying bag.
There are 4 types of DOC: standard, tender, guardian boys, limited editions, and collection editions.

Standard
There are 8 standard 43cm dolls, known as DOC (Dream of Children):
- Zen
- Yen
- Too & Bee-a (boy and girl combination sold as a pair and do not come with wigs)
- Mir
- Pitts
- Leya
- Twing-key

Tender
There are tender versions (dolls with half-closed eyes) of some of these standard dolls:
- Tender Yen
- Tender Too & Bee-a (boy and girl combination sold as a pair)
- Tender Zen (optional sex; choose female or male body)

Guardian Boys
In addition to the standard dolls, DOD has a new line of DOC dolls, the 4 Guardian Boys. Unlike the standard dolls, Guardian Boys are 45cm, have slightly more mature bodies with posable hands, and longer legs. Each comes with a standard or a full-set option (indicated by “[F]” on the site). The full-set option includes a default make-up system, display clothes, and acrylic eyes. They are the following:

Limited Editions
DOD also has limited editions of some dolls. A Limited doll is harder to get since they are released only once and in small quantitys. DOD Limited Editions are:
- Black Yen
- White Yen
- Sleeping Yen

- White Mir
- White Pitts
- Sleeping Pitts

Collection Editions
The collection editions are even harder to get than the limited ones. There are only 1 or 2 of each edition. The colection editions are:
- Too & Bee-a (with special clothes, default make-up and wigs)
- Too & Bee-a (wedding version)
- Mir Collection
- Tender Yen
- Zen Collection
- Tender Too & Bee-a.
- Twing-key Collection
- Pitts Collection

DOT
DOT standard dolls come with acrylic eyes, a wig, an extra pair of hands, 2 cushions and a box.
Females are 60cm tall while males are 64cm. Limited editions of DOT's are also available.
